Ed Bidwell MRICS is a highly experienced Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years in the commercial and residential property sectors. He began his career in 1994 at Weatherall Green & Smith and Colliers International before joining Manor Asset Management, where he specialised in residential investment and development in London, Cambridge and the Southeast. Ed played a pivotal role in the expansion of the buy-to-let market and is very experienced in planning and development.

In 2008, Ed transitioned into the Latent Defects Insurance (LDI) sector, setting up the LDI team at Evo Insurance. During the recession, Ed worked closely with distressed property receivers, successfully resolving complex and problem sites. His expertise in LDI led to the founding of Granite Building Warranties (GBW) in August 2018.
