After 20 years of promotion the planning committee voted for the approval of up to 300 homes at Kenmuir Farm, Carmyle.  The site comprises 55 acres of redundant farmland fronting the river Clyde.  The scheme will provide much needed housing and also include important planning benefits to the local community.  This will include a new relief road along the river Clyde, a new local community centre, games pitches and potential improvements to local schools.  Work is expected to start on site in late 2022 and for further information please call Ed Bidwell on 07968 119620.
